1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TimeCap, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this service.

2. Service Description

TimeCap is a decentralized application (dApp) built on the XPR Network blockchain that allows users to create time-locked digital capsules containing messages and images. Each capsule requires a payment of 100 XPR tokens to create and is stored on the XPR Network blockchain and IPFS (InterPlanetary File System).

3. Blockchain Transactions - ALL SALES FINAL

CRITICAL: ALL PAYMENTS ARE FINAL AND IRREVERSIBLE

  • All payments of 100 XPR to create capsules are final, irreversible, and non-refundable.
  • Once a blockchain transaction is confirmed on the XPR Network, it cannot be reversed, canceled, or refunded under any circumstances.
  • All sales are final. No refunds, chargebacks, or cancellations will be honored.
  • You are solely responsible for verifying all transaction details (recipient username, unlock time, message content) before submitting.
  • TimeCap, its operators, developers, and affiliates cannot and will not reverse transactions or issue refunds for user error, incorrect information, or any other reason.

4. User Responsibilities

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use TimeCap.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your XPR Network wallet and private keys.
  • You agree to use TimeCap only for lawful purposes.
  • You will not upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
  • You acknowledge that all content uploaded to TimeCap may be stored permanently on IPFS and the blockchain.
  • You are solely responsible for any content you upload and share through TimeCap.

5. Limitation of Liability

TimeCap is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • TimeCap, its operators, developers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.
  • We are not responsible for any loss of funds, incorrect unlock times, wrong recipient usernames, wallet security breaches, or user error.
  • We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
  • We are not responsible for the availability or performance of the XPR Network blockchain, IPFS, or any third-party services.

6. Cryptocurrency Risk Disclosure

Cryptocurrency transactions and blockchain technology involve substantial risk of loss. You acknowledge and accept that:

  • The value of XPR tokens may fluctuate significantly.
  • Blockchain transactions are irreversible and final once confirmed.
  • You may lose access to your capsules if you lose your wallet credentials.
  • Smart contract vulnerabilities or blockchain network issues may result in loss of funds.
  • You should only use funds you can afford to lose entirely.

7. Intellectual Property

The TimeCap service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by TimeCap and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you upload, but grant TimeCap a worldwide, non-exclusive license to store and display such content as necessary to provide the service.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove content at our sole discretion, without notice or liability. However, capsules already stored on the blockchain and IPFS may persist regardless of account termination.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding related to TimeCap shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Delaware.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of TimeCap after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
