All payments are final and irreversible. There are NO refunds, NO chargebacks, and NO cancellations under any circumstances.

1. Blockchain Transactions Are Irreversible

TimeCap operates on the XPR Network blockchain. By the fundamental nature of blockchain technology:

  • Once a transaction is confirmed on the blockchain, it is PERMANENT and CANNOT be reversed.
  • All payments of 100 XPR are FINAL, IRREVERSIBLE, and NON-REFUNDABLE.
  • No person, company, or authority (including TimeCap, its operators, developers, or the XPR Network) has the ability to reverse, cancel, or refund blockchain transactions.
  • This is not a policy choice—it is a technical limitation of blockchain technology.
  • If you enter incorrect information (wrong recipient, wrong unlock time, wrong message), the transaction cannot be undone.
  • If you change your mind after creating a capsule, you cannot get your 100 XPR back.

2. No Refunds or Chargebacks

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. TimeCap, its operators, developers, and affiliates:

  • Will NOT issue refunds for any reason
  • Will NOT reverse transactions under any circumstances
  • Will NOT provide compensation for user error
  • Will NOT process chargebacks or payment disputes
  • Will NOT intervene in blockchain transactions

This includes but is not limited to cases of:

  • Incorrect recipient username
  • Wrong unlock time or date
  • Typos in messages
  • Accidental image uploads
  • Change of mind after submission
  • Recipient not receiving or not opening the capsule
  • Loss of wallet access
  • Forgotten passwords
  • Technical difficulties
  • Service interruptions

3. User Responsibility

You are solely and completely responsible for:

  • Verifying all transaction details before submission (recipient, unlock time, message, image)
  • Understanding that blockchain transactions are permanent and irreversible
  • Securing your XPR Network wallet and private keys
  • Understanding the risks associated with cryptocurrency
  • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
  • The content you upload and share
  • Any consequences arising from your use of TimeCap

4. No Liability for Loss of Funds

TimeCap, its operators, developers, and affiliates are NOT responsible for:

  • Loss of funds due to user error
  • Loss of wallet access or private keys
  • Incorrect transaction details
  • Smart contract vulnerabilities or bugs
  • XPR Network blockchain issues or downtime
  • IPFS availability or data persistence
  • Third-party service failures
  • Hacking, phishing, or social engineering attacks
  • Changes in cryptocurrency value
  • Regulatory actions or legal issues

5. Cryptocurrency Risk Disclosure

HIGH RISK WARNING

Cryptocurrency transactions involve substantial risk of loss:

  • The value of XPR tokens can fluctuate dramatically and unpredictably
  • You may lose all funds you spend on TimeCap
  • Blockchain technology is experimental and may contain unknown vulnerabilities
  • Regulatory frameworks for cryptocurrency are evolving and uncertain
  • There is no government insurance or protection for cryptocurrency losses
  • You should only use funds that you can afford to lose entirely

6. No Warranties or Guarantees

TimeCap is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties or guarantees:

  • We do NOT guarantee uninterrupted service
  • We do NOT guarantee error-free operation
  • We do NOT guarantee data will be accessible after unlock time
  • We do NOT guarantee IPFS content will remain available
  • We do NOT guarantee blockchain transactions will succeed
  • We do NOT guarantee security from all threats
  • We do NOT guarantee compatibility with all wallets or browsers

7. Content Permanence and Privacy

Content uploaded to TimeCap may be permanently stored on IPFS and the blockchain:

  • Content may remain accessible indefinitely
  • Content cannot be guaranteed to be deleted
  • Anyone with an IPFS hash can access the content
  • Blockchain transactions are publicly visible forever
  • Do NOT upload sensitive, private, illegal, or confidential content

8. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use TimeCap. By using this service, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

9. Assumption of Risk

By using TimeCap, you explicitly acknowledge and accept all risks described in this disclaimer, including but not limited to:

  • The irreversible nature of blockchain transactions
  • The impossibility of refunds or chargebacks
  • The volatility and risk of cryptocurrency
  • The experimental nature of blockchain technology
  • The potential for total loss of funds
  • All technical, financial, legal, and operational risks

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TimeCap and its operators shall have ZERO LIABILITY for any damages, losses, or claims arising from your use of the service, including:

  • Direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
  • Loss of cryptocurrency or funds
  • Personal injury or property damage
  • Any other losses or damages of any kind

Even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
